Why we built Dog Friends
We wanted a place we would trust with our own dogs.
We built Dog Friends because we never felt comfortable leaving our own dogs in large, impersonal environments. As parents to Chow Chows, a Golden Retriever, and Doxles—our Dachshund–Beagle mixes—we wanted something warmer and more personal: a real home where dogs could be known, loved, and free to enjoy their days.
That feeling still guides every decision we make: small groups, familiar people, peaceful routines, and the kind of attention we would want for our own family.
