This policy explains how Dog Friends LLC (“Dog Friends,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use DogFriends.dog or our boarding, daycare, transportation, and related dog-care services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, address, email, phone number, account credentials, emergency contacts, reservation details, communications, reviews, and payment status. We also collect information needed to care for your dog, such as profile details, photos and videos, routines, behavior, feeding instructions, medications, health information, vaccination records, veterinary contacts, and care history.

When you use the website, we may automatically receive IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral or advertising information, and cookie or similar technology data.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; review and manage reservations; provide safe, personalized dog care and transportation; process and reconcile payments; send confirmations, care updates, and service messages; respond to requests; maintain business and safety records; improve the website and services; measure advertising; prevent misuse; and meet legal obligations.

3. When we share information

We share information only as needed with service providers that support hosting, communications, analytics, advertising, payments, and business operations; with veterinarians or emergency providers when needed for a dog’s care; with people you authorize; or when required to protect safety, enforce agreements, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information.

PayPal processes payment details when you choose PayPal. PayPal handles that information under its own Privacy Statement; Dog Friends receives transaction and payment-status information needed to manage the booking.

4. Google services and cookies

We use Google Analytics and Google advertising tools to understand website use and measure advertising. These services may collect device, browser, interaction, and advertising information through cookies or similar technologies. 5. Photos, videos, and public content

Dog photos, videos, and care updates may be stored with the dog’s care record and shared with the customer’s account. Reviews or other submissions are public only when you choose or authorize publication. Please do not submit content you do not have permission to share.

6. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain care, payment, safety, and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices

You may update much of your account and dog information after signing in. You may also ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information by contacting us. We will honor requests when reasonably possible and as required by law, but may retain records needed for completed services, safety, payments, disputes, or legal compliance.

8. Children

DogFriends.dog accounts and reservations are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
